“ Had the Easter dinner set menu, which was lovely. Service was wonderful. Sat by the window so we could watch the action outside. Dessert was amazing. ”
“ Myself and my partner were in Aberdeen February 2025 and were lucky enough to have some nice food experiences. We arrived in the city late so quite a few places were closed but Amarone was still open and gave us a wonderful meal. I had the Pollo Diavola pizza which was very nice pizza, with the dough and crust being cooked to perfection and a good mix of sauce and cheese ratio. The only thing which I didn't like much was the amount of Diavola oil, perhaps they could let you apply it yourself as it was quite a lot and made the pizza spicier than I wanted. My partner had the Ravili Verdi which she enjoyed very much saying it wasn't too heavy with the sauce and filling both having good flavours. She also had a non alcoholic cocktail and I had a beer. The prices were reasonable at about 14-17 per dish which is standard pricing in UK Italians but the quality of service and food was worth more than your usual chain Italians like Zizi pizza express etc. Thanks Amarone, we will definitely try you again. ”
“ Fabulous evening at Amarone Aberdeen. Random dinner out with a friend, rather than special occasion. We opted for calzone and risotto. Both were absolutely lovely! And the chocolate mousse was one of the best! Service... Christi (might have been Christian) is the staff everyone wants on a night out. Friendly, personable, welcoming, and nothing was a bother for him. He is an absolute asset to the restaurant. ”
“ Been a few times and to be honest it never disappoints!! We had an early.dinner as we had our Neice with us, that's the only reason there was a low score for atmosphere, NOT our Neice, just the time of our dining experience. From being seated to leaving, we were treated like we were the only ones there and from watching all the other staff every other table received the same service. What a treat to see hospitality and service at its best. Pretty pricey to be honest, the food is really good mauve slightly larger portions especially the starter of black pudding. Would have been happy with the bill of 120 had the portions been slightly bigger!! But quality was fantastic. Again the team there are all amazing!!! We'll be back for sure. ”
“ Gorgeous interior and amazing food. I went here a while back with my girlfriend and it was perfect for an anniversary meal or more of a nice event, unlike somewhere easy like pizza express. They did mess up her order when she asked for veggie. But quickly fixed the issue and replaced the bowl when the issue was raised. Then to compensate they gave us free espresso liquor which was lovely, despite not being a fan of it generally, I really liked it. The cocktails were beautiful and tasted lovely ”

“ Absolutely fabulous place. We had a family girls' day out and decided to go for a boozy brunch that was delicious. As I was driving, they happily let me order alcohol free cocktails instead of the alcohol ones on their fixed brunch menu. We would have stayed longer, but we had plans for the afternoon. ”
